Sunshine on a rainy day By Claire Chandler acrylic on canvas 2021 - SHIPS FROM London, UK- Artist Bio--Claire Chandler lives in Carshalton, Surrey.She graduated with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle with the Terry Stephenson Prize.Claire has been shortlisted for the Marshwood Arts Award and Celeste Art Prize, took part in the Arts Travel Award to Quimper and has exhibited with the Royal Society of British Artists, ING Discerning Eye at the Mall Galleries and Linden Hall Studio Gallery in Deal, Kent. In 2023 she was selected as Artist-in-Residence in the New Forest National Park.Claire is a practicing artist and a fully qualified art tutor at West Dean College and also holds workshops in and around her studio in south LondonTitle--Sunshine on a rainy day-Description--I am constantly inspired by the natural world around me. Through a layering of colour upon colour, I am trying to achieve transparency yet depth of feeling until I sense that warm sun. Here I have used delicate yet energetic brushstrokes and colours that, to me, evoke a feeling of calm and happiness of being outdoors. Condition: Good Condition, as in images Dimensions: 95 x 85 cm
