DescriptionI love to get the feel of movement into my work, whether it is the swish of a ladies skirt , or the slink of a tiger waiting to pounce, or maybe the feel of the wave as it climbs up and up before breaking on the shore.So this is just for fun, swirling , momentum of water? or is it silk, or turn it sideways and it has eyes and cheeks ? who knows? it is your choiceArtist BioMy name is Lynda Cockshott and I live in the North West of England in the county of Lancashire. My husband and I are both retired nowWhen I finally retired I promissed myselfI would spend some time painting. I attended nightschool, for various courses, and managed two years part -time at the local art colledge. So though I do not hold a qualification, and am mostly self taught, I have had a lot of excellent professional tuition along the way.I joined on-line galleries and was amazed and delighted to find that people liked my work enough to buy it and hang it on their walls to grace their homes.As for my style, I will attempt anything and everything mostly related to Nature. That gives me a tremendous choice of brilliant animals, scenes, flora, places, and faces to explore.
