The series currently includes five completed pieces. Some of them have already been exhibited as part of a solo show in the UK, where they received very positive feedback from both visitors and fellow artists.This work explores memory as a living space where the past grows into the present. The roots of recollection intertwine with new sprouts, shaping a landscape in which time is not linear. Everything is preserved here - even what seems lost.The painting is presented framed with a mount (passepartout). The artwork itself measures 40 by 30 cm, and with the frame and mount included, the total dimensions are 50 by 40 cm.Artist BioBorn in Ukraine, Olesia Miftahova currently resides and works in Crosskeys, Newport (UK, Wales). An artist and poet, Olesia found that visual art became her way of communicating the same themes she once expressed through poetry. Through her art, she explores emotional and philosophical questions about existence, identity, and the interconnectedness of all living things.Olesia has studied under renowned artists in both Ukraine and the United Kingdom, honing her skills in various techniques, including watercolor, pastel, acrylic, and charcoal. This diversity of materials allows her to experiment with different textures and effects, helping her fully express complex ideas.Her approach to exploring ideas is deeply informed by her poetic background, allowing her to translate emotional and conceptual depth into her visual work.
