44 Miles in a Second By Elizabeth Hindle 2023 Acrylic, compressed charcoal and mixed media on canvas - SHIPS FROM Norfolk, UK Brightly-coloured geometric shapes are juxtaposed with deep texture and compressed charcoal in a celebration of metaphorical movement and the joy of leaving behind that which does not serve us anymore. I am an Interdisciplinary Fine Artist from the UK and regularly exhibit in both the UK and internationally. My practice spans multiple disciplines although I consider myself primarily as a painter. My most recent paintings are dynamic abstract works focusing on the use of bold colour and geometric shapes juxtaposed with texture and expressive charcoal overlays.
