It represents the power of Life and Female force through the force of a lioness and the beauty of a doe. Mariaceleste Arena is an emerging visual artist with artworks in private collections in Italy and some of them exhibited in permanent collections. Her work is based on the elaboration of fantastic creatures mixed together inspired by the animals symbol of the Mother Goddess of Life and Regeneration, taken from the books written by the archaeologist Marija Gimbutas. She is  fascinated by the art style of naive artists such as Ivan Generalić and Ivan Večenaj and Sicilian artists such as Mariano Pietrini and Giovanni Cammarata. In her works she fuses imagination, feelings and art research. Arena has exhibited in numerous national and international physical and virtual exhibitions and her artworks have been published in numerous trade magazines and catalogues. 40x 30
