Scape box Sara Adib Mixed Media 2015 - SHIPS FROM UK Photography served as my starting point; I found it interesting and pleasant to begin my painting on a photographic basis rather than on a blank canvas. I stage them to differentiate them from ordinary snapshots, and thus show the reality thatfeeds on and emerges from my thoughts. My inspired image rests on my painting, and I work freely with the effects of different media to manipulate the photo and thus create a new image. This generates disturbances in the photographic image.There is no arbitrariness in the use of circumstances in the photos.I imposed on my works a visual indelibility that leads to a double mexion and a distance from reality. It is a matter of visual perceptions, where they are accentuated by the use of colors or other electrical processes, which gives rise to the concept of artistic hallucination.
