Nature provides us with a variety of colourful berries and tastes. Red currants are very attractive plants, and they are also very tasty. All these experiences inspired this summertime planting. Birute Nomeda Stankuniene is an abstract artist living and working in Lithuania. In 2009, she graduated from Vilnius Art Academy, and from 2017 to 2019, she developed her practice at Slade School and a residency. The artist organised more than 30 personal shows and participated in more than 20 group shows, locally and internationally. Her works have been featured by Saatchi Art and other platforms and by international press, such as BBC RADIO Solent, CNC, ”Toskana Nova, ” and others.
