Her art teacher and her dad aroused interest in aesthetics and art.She found back to painting during her depressive episode, and since that she never stopped working in art. Art is her life elixir. Her main medium is acrylic. She works also with mixed media and experimenting with different materials and styles. She also produced her own pigments out of the Kenyan soil. It’s the curiosity of possibilities and techniques what pushes her forward. Her passion is the reflections of light, and she gets inspired by nature and human. Martina does photorealistic, Impressionism, and abstract art, and collage as well. She likes sketching in between and creating with driftwood.
