Fulgoni's Italian Ice Cream cart - Fulgoni's Italian Ice Cream cob-size cart with matching lamps, sells with shafts, 55” x 95” x 86”H -Excellent restored condition > HISTORY: The body has a foot bay from which the owner drives, and a compartment just before him where the ice cream and tools to dip it are kept. The top, with its canvas of red and white stripes, is mounted on four standards that can be collapsed onto the body itself. Two matching lanterns are painted in the same royal blue as the gear and they complete the turnout. It was meant to be pulled by a small cob, which is a thickset short-legged horse. >> PROVENANCE: Purchased at the Foxhill Film Studios sale in 1977 by John and Wendy Fulgoni, this vendor cart was restored by Eugene Larkin of Northern Ireland who was awarded the 2002 Carriage Makers Award which was presented by HRH Prince Philip. *NOTE: BUYER TO ARRANGE PICKUP.
