Studebaker US Mail cart - Custom horse-drawn US Mail cart c.1890, made by Studebaker & Co. of South Bend, IN, shafts attached, 65” x 122” x 62”H (with shafts) -Professionally restored > HISTORY: Local mail routes required the services of a sensible, quiet horse and an agile delivery man. The horse who knew his route needed no prompting as he stopped at each of his designated stops. The delivery man would step off the cart, make his delivery, and cue the horse that it was time to move on by stepping back onto the cart. *NOTE: BUYER TO ARRANGE PICKUP.
