Scandinavian art glass bowl executed in the mid-century glacier glass (ice glass / bark glass) technique, characterized by its rugged exterior surface created by rapidly chilling molten glass and reheating it during shaping. The form reflects the hybrid aesthetic of Brutalist and Organic Modern design, combining substantial sculptural mass with a fluid, naturalistic profile. The bowl features a broad, flared body with a softly undulating hand-finished rim and thick, smooth interior walls. The underside displays a polished pontil scar and an incised signature appearing to read ”W” along with the date '56. Approximately 14.0L x 7.0H x 6.50W in.
