Imogen Cunningham Trust, Aloe, Gelatin Silver Print - Gelatin silver print after Imogen Cunningham, titled ”Aloe, ” originally photographed in 1925 and printed from the original negative for the Imogen Cunningham Trust. Facsimile signature and Chinese chop mark below the image. Accompanied by Trust documentation stating the print was printed by Rondal Partridge on 10 Sept. 1988, on gelatin silver paper, mounted and overmatted. Also includes original Weston Gallery documentation, including the August 20, 1992 sales receipt, formal invoice identifying the work, and signed gallery correspondence. The letter discusses Cunningham s plant photographs as ”portraits, ” noting that she arranged and considered their individual personalities as thoughtfully as those of her human subjects.
