Morley Baer (American, 1916-1995) was a photographer and educator known for his precisely composed black-and-white images of California architecture, landscapes, and coastal scenery. A former head of photography at the San Francisco Art Institute, he received the AIA Architectural Photography Award and the Rome Prize. His work is held in major museum collections, including the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the de Young Museum.
