An early 20th-century oak cased Westminster chime grandmother clock - A 1920s or 1930s grandmother clock featuring a slender dark-stained oak case. The square hood sits above a trunk decorated with a decorative raised panel and beaded edging, supported by a simple plinth base. The square dial comprises a metallic-finished chapter ring with black Roman numerals surrounding a central oak panel. The dial features three winding holes and two hands. Internally, the clock contains a brass mechanical movement with a pendulum bob and vertical gong rods for a striking Westminster chime. Height: approximately 150 cm
