A large carved wooden figure of a seated cat - A large hand-carved wooden sculpture depicting a stylised cat in an upright seated position. The figure is constructed from wood with a visible natural grain, finished in a honey-toned stain with contrasting dark brown pigment applied to the ears, eyes, nose, whisker area, paws, and tail. The facial features include large circular eyes and incised lines for whiskers. The tail is carved in relief and curled against the right side of the body. Height: 53.5 cm.
