A Collection of Assorted Ceramics including Teapots, Mugs, and Bowls - A collection of ceramic items comprising teapots, mugs, and bowls in various styles and materials. The group includes a large porcelain teapot of ribbed, globular form with a cream-coloured ground, decorated with vertical gilt bands and transfer-printed floral sprigs. The handle, spout, and finial are accented with gilding. Also included is a small earthenware teapot in the Art Deco style, featuring a black glaze with multi-coloured vertical dash motifs in red, green, yellow, and blue. A turquoise-glazed earthenware character mug is sculpted in the form of a grotesque face with prominent features. A small earthenware bowl features a hand-painted naïve landscape scene depicting a cottage and trees, in the style of South Devon potteries. The collection further contains a porcelain two-handled child's mug decorated with a transfer-printed rocking horse and toy motifs, a small porcelain mug with butterfly motifs, and a shallow earthenware bowl with hand-painted stylised blue bird motifs. No factory marks are visible on the items.
