Two maritime and river transport themed advertising-style wall mirrors - Two decorative wall mirrors produced in the late 20th century, styled as vintage maritime and river transport advertisements. The first mirror features a central illustration of a three-masted steam-assisted sailing ship at sea, flanked by two multi-coloured compass roses and decorative scrolling corner borders. A banner at the bottom right is inscribed Oriental Steam Navigation Company. It is housed in a moulded wooden frame with a dark brown stained finish. The second, smaller mirror depicts a multi-decked river steamboat with large red text reading Louisiana. Additional inscriptions include Steamboat Company, Founded 1888, and a list of ports including St. Louis, Memphis, Greenville, Natchez, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans. This mirror is set within a simple moulded light wood frame. 46cm x 36cm and 31cm x 19cm.
