The item features a curved bed composed of eleven parallel bars, supported by a thick-walled frame. It is flanked by two integrated upright posts, each surmounted by a decorative fleur-de-lis finial. The side and rear rails are punctuated by vertical spikes. The construction is cast iron throughout with no visible maker's marks, stamps, or inscriptions.
