The figure is carved from blue marble with a translucent off-white appearance and a polished finish. The Buddha is depicted in the Bhumisparsha mudra, seated in a cross-legged lotus position upon a tiered, double-lotus pedestal. Anatomical and iconographic features include a pointed ushnisha, elongated earlobes, and a robe draped over the left shoulder.
