A George III Copper Halfpenny, 1806 - A British George III copper halfpenny dated 1806, corresponding to the fourth issue of this reign and catalogued as KM662. The obverse features a right-facing laureate bust of King George III, inscribed with GEORGIUS III D.G. REX. above the date 1806. The reverse depicts a seated figure of Britannia facing left, holding a trident, with the inscription BRITANNIA along the upper edge. The coin is struck in copper and was produced at the Soho Mint, Birmingham.
