The item features a single-edged steel blade with a fuller and a clip-point tip. The hilt consists of a metal crossguard and a rounded pommel with a mounting mechanism, fitted with wooden grips secured by two screws. One side of the wooden grip has been hand-carved with a geometric starburst or cross-hatched motif, suggesting personal modification or trench art. The metal scabbard has a darkened finish with a metallic locket and chape. The assembly is completed by a brown leather frog.
