The vessel is constructed with internal swirls of red, orange, and amber glass. The exterior surface is decorated with applied dark turquoise glass trailing in a web-like pattern. The base bears an incised signature for Mdina. The shoulder of the vase retains an original paper label featuring a Maltese cross above the text MDINA GLASS.
