A Collection of Model Ships and Nautical Novelties including a Scale Model of the PS Waverley - This collection comprises several model vessels and a decorative nautical item, featuring a variety of construction materials including painted wood, tinplate, and composite. The primary piece is a detailed scale model of the PS Waverley, the world's last seagoing paddle steamer, constructed from painted wood with metal and plastic detailing. This model features a black and red hull, white superstructure with yellow accents, and twin red and black funnels, complete with lifeboats, paddle wheels, and rigging. It displays a Scottish Saltire and a Red Ensign, with a brass-coloured nameplate on the black display stand reading WAVERLEY. Also included is a novelty steamship teapot crafted from painted metal, possibly tinplate, with a blue and cream hull, red accents, and a copper-toned arched handle spanning the deck. The collection further contains a tinplate model steamship with a red and grey hull, blue superstructure, and two grey funnels with black and gold bands, flying a French tricolour. A brightly coloured decorative model ship features a yellow wood or composite hull with orange upper decks, black funnels with light blue bands, and wire railings. Completing the group is a small green-hulled tinplate steamship with a single yellow funnel, brown cabin, and an American flag, mounted on a wire and metal display stand.
