WW 19th-Early 20th C. Stamp Collection, UK, ES, PT, IT, NL, TR - An assortment of worldwide postage stamps dating from the mid-19th to early 20th centuries, presented on several stock cards. The collection features a significant representation of UK Victorian issues, specifically Penny Red definitives bearing various postal cancellations including BURY and numeral 194. Spanish colonial issues are present for the Philippines and Cuba, including denominations of 5 Centavos and 5 C. De Peso, with some examples carrying the IMPTO DE GUERRA war tax overprints. Portuguese colonial territories represented include Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde, Timor, St. Thomas and Prince, Guinea, Angra, and Funchal, largely featuring King Carlos I types with red REPUBLICA overprints.
