A Pair of Parker 45 Flighter Stainless Steel Writing Instruments - A pair of Parker 45 Flighter writing instruments comprising a fountain pen and a ballpoint pen. Both pieces are constructed with brushed stainless steel barrels and caps, a finish known as the Flighter, and feature chrome-plated arrow clips and trim. The fountain pen is fitted with a semi-hooded nib and utilizes a standard Parker cartridge or converter filling system. The ballpoint pen employs a cap-actuated advance and retract mechanism. Both instruments are incised with the letters P A R K E R on the cap bands. The set is housed in its original blue textured presentation box, the lid of which is gilt-printed with a corporate long-service award inscription for the Sheffield-based manufacturer Firth Brown Ltd. The inscription reads Presented by Firth Brown Ltd / 25 Year Award and includes the company Atlas logo. The set is accompanied by a Parker instruction leaflet.
