A Trio of Nautical Knot Shadow Boxes - A trio of decorative maritime shadow boxes featuring an assortment of sailor's knots and nautical miniatures. The largest display is housed in a dark wood frame with a white inner slip, featuring a central half-hull model of a sailing vessel surrounded by knots including a Fisherman's Knot, Butterfly Knot, and Bowline, each identified by an individual brass-toned plaque. The second, medium-sized shadow box features brass-reinforced corners and is titled Traditional Mariners' Knots on a lower plaque; it includes rope samples such as a Fisherman's Bend and a miniature wooden barrel. The smallest box contains a miniature lifebuoy, a fouled anchor, a sailing ship model, and three knots with French labels including Noeud De Pecheur and Noeud De Plein Poing.
