Liddell Hart, B.H. (Editor). Purnell's History of the Second World War. Purnell & Sons Ltd, c. 1966. - A multi-volume set of Purnell's History of the Second World War, edited by Captain B.H. Liddell Hart in association with the Imperial War Museum. This collection comprises the bound editions of the weekly partwork magazine series originally published in the late 1960s. The volumes are quarto in format and bound in the publisher's black cloth or paper-covered boards with large, blocky gilt-effect lettering to the front covers and spines.
