A Pair of Hand-Painted Glazed Earthenware Jug and Matching Platter - A matching set comprising a baluster-form jug and a large circular charger, both constructed from terracotta-coloured earthenware. The pieces feature a cream-coloured glaze and are decorated in a rustic, hand-painted style with stylized foliate and floral motifs in a palette of blue, green, yellow, and maroon. Both items are finished with a distinctive dark brown trailed or sgraffito-style interlocking loop border. The jug is designed with a flared rim, a pinched spout, and a simple loop handle with painted detailing, further accented by horizontal green bands around the neck. No factory marks, signatures, or inscriptions are visible on either piece. Platter: 31cm diameter Jug: 21cm height.
