A Pair of Terre e Provence Hand-Painted French Pottery Items - A pair of Terre e Provence hand-painted earthenware items comprising a large pitcher and a circular charger. Each piece features a cream-coloured glaze decorated with stylised botanical motifs in shades of blue, yellow, and green. The decoration is accented with a brown hand-painted wavy interlaced border and green banded rims. The pitcher is of bulbous form with a flared neck, pinched pouring spout, and a simple loop handle. The charger is of large, flat circular form with a slightly raised rim. Both items exhibit visible brushwork characteristic of artisanal production and a visible reddish-brown clay body at the unglazed foot rims.
