Vintage 925 Silver Engine-Turned Miniature Propelling Pencil with Tassel and Case - A vintage 925 silver miniature propelling pencil of a type traditionally used for chatelaines or dance cards. The cylindrical barrel is decorated with a linear engine-turned guilloché pattern. A suspension ring is attached to the top, which holds a pale blue corded textile tassel. The pencil has a smooth, tapered point and operates via a twist-action propelling mechanism. Small markings are visible on the barrel near the suspension ring. The item is presented in its original fitted box, which has a cream-coloured textured snakeskin-effect exterior and a contoured interior tray.
