A Set of Five Wade Ceramics NatWest Promotional Piggy Banks - A complete set of five vintage ceramic piggy banks manufactured by Wade Ceramics as a promotional collection for National Westminster Bank in the United Kingdom during the 1980s. The collection features the full family of anthropomorphic characters representing different stages of saving: Woody (the baby) in a white nappy with a large safety pin, Annabel (the sister) in blue dungarees with a red and white striped tie, Maxwell (the brother) in green dungarees with a yellow tie, Lady Hilary (the mother) in a blue blouse and dark skirt, and Sir Nathaniel (the father) in a black tuxedo with a red bow tie. Each figurine is constructed from glazed earthenware. The bases are embossed with the manufacturer's mark Wade England. All five figurines retain their original black rubber stoppers, which are embossed with the NatWest name and the bank's three-chevron logo.
