Two Pairs of Vintage British Military Issue Prismatic Binoculars and Case - This lot comprises two pairs of vintage prismatic binoculars and a single protective carrying case. The larger pair features textured black vulcanite or leatherette-covered bodies and is marked to the right prism plate with a broad arrow pheon mark, signifying British military or government issue. This instrument is further inscribed Field 8.2 degrees and carries the serial number 155228 on the central hinge cap. It is constructed with a metal frame, adjustable eyepieces, and a central focusing wheel, and includes a brown leather neck strap. The second pair is a compact prismatic model with textured black bodies and individual eyepiece adjustment, bearing the serial number 123508. The accompanying hard-sided carrying case is made of brown leather with stitched seams and a leather shoulder strap. The metal front clasp of the case is decorated with a red triangular logo.
