A Vintage Siamese Bronze and Horn Flatware Service for Six - A mid-20th century Thai bronze and horn flatware service for six, comprising six fruit knives and six two-tine forks. The set is constructed from gold-toned bronze with polished black handles, potentially fashioned from buffalo horn or wood, which are secured with brass pins. Each handle is terminated with a decorative metal cap featuring a relief-moulded figure of a traditional Thai deity or mythical figure. Each piece is stamped with the mark SIAM at the base of the decorative metal terminal. The service is housed in its original red cardboard presentation cases with contrasting red and yellow fabric linings.
