Maling Blossom Pattern Pink Lustreware Ceramic Vase - A Maling pottery lustreware ceramic vase of tapering, horizontally ribbed form with a slightly flared base. The exterior features relief-moulded and hand-painted floral decoration in the Blossom pattern, depicting pink flowers with green stems and leaves against a cream ground. The piece is finished in a characteristic iridescent lustre glaze. The base bears a printed manufacturer mark in brown ink featuring a central stylized castle gatehouse emblem, inscribed MALING, NEWCASTLE-ON-TYNE, ENGLAND and ESTD 1762.
