A Price & Kensington Athena Range Ceramic Vase - A Price & Kensington earthenware vase of cylindrical form featuring a stepped shoulder and a flared neck. The exterior is decorated with a relief-moulded pattern consisting of stylised botanical and geometric motifs arranged in vertical panels and horizontal bands. The piece is finished in a high-gloss, two-tone reactive glaze, featuring a deep olive green body with bands of turquoise blue pooled in the recesses of the design. The base bears a central printed manufacturer mark featuring a laurel wreath enclosing the words PRICE KENSINGTON above MADE IN ENGLAND. Stamped around the circumference of the base are the words MADE IN ENGLAND and ATHENA AND P&K. There is a small incised mark and an adhesive stock label present. Height: Approximately 21.5 cm.
