A Pair of Regency Style Cut Glass Barrel Decanters - A pair of antique lead crystal decanters of barrel form, designed in the Regency style of the early 19th century. Each decanter features a body decorated with a deep-cut honeycomb or diamond pattern. The necks are accented with three annulated rings, a functional feature designed to provide a secure grip when pouring. Each vessel is topped with a matching mushroom-shaped stopper, featuring radial facet cutting to the upper surface and ground glass plugs. The clarity and weight of the glass suggest high-quality lead crystal, characteristic of English or Irish glassworks such as Stourbridge or Waterford from the period circa 1810-1840. No maker marks or signatures are visible on the bodies or stoppers.
