A Trio of Neoclassical Style Relief-Moulded Pewter Tea Service Pieces - A three-piece pewter service set comprising a large water or milk jug, a smaller cream jug, and a sugar bowl with a fitted lid. Each piece is designed in the Neoclassical revival style, featuring a cast relief-moulded frieze around the lower body. This decoration depicts various classical Greco-Roman figures in seated and standing poses, surmounted by a border of ribbon-tied floral swags. The items are fitted with black composite handles, likely Bakelite or a similar early synthetic material, which are secured to the metal bodies with pins. The pewter has a characteristic matte, greyish-silver finish with an established patina. No maker marks, hallmarks, or signatures are visible on the exterior surfaces of the pieces.
