A mid-century style dark amethyst glass swing vase with an artificial organza floral arrangement - This lot consists of a tall, slender decorative glass vase in a style characteristic of mid-century manufacturers. The vase is crafted from deep amethyst-coloured glass, appearing nearly black in ambient light, and features an elongated, tapered neck. The base is finished with three clear glass feet, pulled from the body of the vase. Contained within is an artificial floral arrangement. The flowers are handmade from fine organza or gauze mesh in shades of cream and pale grey, stretched over wire frames and accented with white chenille stamens. The display is further decorated with natural dried poppy seed heads on tall stems and a decorative butterfly ornament. Total height including arrangement: approximately 50-60cm.
