Vintage Swiss Souvenir Relief-Molded Ceramic Mug - A vintage relief-molded ceramic souvenir mug, likely manufactured in the mid-20th century. The cylindrical body is decorated with a polychrome Alpine landscape in high relief, featuring a snow-capped mountain range under a deep cobalt blue sky, a red-roofed chalet, and the Swiss national flag. The lower portion of the central scene includes a spoked wheel and a scroll bearing the embossed inscription SUISSE. The piece features a textured faux bois or bark-effect handle and is finished with a glossy caramel-coloured glaze to the interior and rim. Similar examples from this period were frequently produced in Japan for the European tourist market.
