A Set of Royal Winton Grimwades Ironstone Kitchen Canisters and Storage Jars - A set of Royal Winton Grimwades ironstone kitchen canisters and storage jars. The pieces feature a white-glazed earthenware body of bulbous, panelled form. Each item is decorated with relief-moulded bamboo or twig-style borders and handles, hand-painted in a vibrant green enamel. The jars are graduated in size. The bases bear a printed backstamp in dark grey comprising the text ROYAL WINTON GRIMWADES in an arc above a three-feather crest, with IRONSTONE, STAFFORDSHIRE, and ENGLAND below. Small hand-painted green marks are also present on some bases.
