UK Bank of England Ten Shillings Banknote K.O. Peppiatt Mauve Series P-366 - Bank of England Ten Shillings banknote issued during the tenure of Chief Cashier K.O. Peppiatt, circa 1940-1948. The obverse is printed in mauve ink on cream paper stock and features a vignette of a seated Britannia within an ornate frame on the left, balanced by the denomination 10 Shillings on the right. The note displays the printed signature of K.O. Peppiatt and bears the serial number H41D 395713 in two positions. The reverse shows a decorative green and pink acanthus leaf design flanking two 10/- denomination markers. This issue is identified as Pick #366.
