UK 2009 Kew Gardens 50 Pence Coin - A UK 2009 cupro-nickel 50 pence coin, issued to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. The obverse features the fourth definitive coinage portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley. The reverse, designed by Christopher Le Brun, displays the Great Pagoda design. The coin is presented in a blue Change Checker collector card, which features a holographic security strip identifying the specimen as Certified Brilliant Uncirculated.
