A Collection of UK London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic 50 Pence Coins in Change Checker Cards - A collection of United Kingdom 50 pence coins from the commemorative series issued for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Each coin is individually mounted in a blue cardstock presentation card from the Change Checker brand. The coins are struck in cupro-nickel and feature the standard equilateral curve heptagon shape. The reverse designs represented in this group include Aquatics, Boccia, Wheelchair Rugby, Equestrian, Triathlon, and Volleyball. Each reverse includes the denomination 50 PENCE and the London 2012 logo. These coins were struck by the Royal Mint and released into general circulation.
