Vintage Italian Piano Accordion - This vintage piano accordion is of Italian manufacture, as evidenced by the word ITALY embossed on the lower edge of the chrome-plated metal grill. The instrument features a black celluloid-covered body with 34 piano keys on the treble side and three gold-toned register switches. The bass side is equipped with a 48-button system arranged in six rows of eight buttons. A strip of green metallic adhesive tape is present on the front of the body, likely covering the original maker's nameplate. The bellows are constructed with metal-reinforced corners and the unit is fitted with leather shoulder and hand straps. The item is accompanied by a textured brown hardshell carrying case with a lined interior.
