Large Gilt-Framed Rococo Style Bevelled Wall Mirror - A large rectangular wall mirror in the Rococo revival style, dating from the late 20th century. The mirror features a central bevelled glass plate with an inset border consisting of four bevelled mirror glass strips. This layered assembly is housed in a wide, ornate frame with a gold-coloured gilt finish. The frame decoration consists of a dense relief pattern of scrolling acanthus leaves, fleur-de-lis, and floral motifs on a stippled ground. The inner edge of the frame features a repeating semi-circular moulding. The style and construction suggest a high-quality contemporary production. No maker markings are visible on the object.
