The piece features three-dimensional applied elements including red and yellow blushed apples, green foliage, and white blossoms with textured yellow centres. The trunk is detailed with incised bark texture and finished in tonal brown and tan glazes. The reverse is unglazed and bears an oval paper retailer's label for Mariposa, 6 Brighton Place, Brighton.
