The stamps are predominantly housed in transparent glassine packets, with several items remaining on original paper fragments. The lot contains elements of postal history, including a commercial cover addressed to Messrs. Middleton Oliver Solicitors in Rotherham, Yorkshire, bearing a circular date stamp dated 28 July 1981. A further handwritten paper fragment mentions Sheffield.
