A Mid-20th Century Silver-Tone and Rhinestone Scroll Pattern Tiara - A vintage costume jewellery tiara of arched, scrolled form, dating to the mid-20th century. The piece is constructed from a silver-tone base metal and features a triple row of channel-set round-cut clear rhinestones along the base. Rising from the base is an openwork design of C-scroll motifs, each pavé-set with round-cut rhinestones of varying sizes. These scrolls are interspersed with horizontally oriented, step-cut baguette rhinestones in claw settings. The tiara is designed as a rigid headband, terminating in small circular loops at each end for securing with hairpins or ribbons. Stamped to the interior left-hand end of the band are two incised characters reading LT.
