A George III Milled Copper Halfpenny - A British milled copper halfpenny, attributed to the Soho Mint, Birmingham. The obverse features a right-facing draped and laureate bust of King George III, with the surrounding inscription GEORGIUS III D: G: REX. The reverse depicts the seated figure of Britannia facing left, holding an olive branch in her right hand and a trident in her left, with a shield bearing the Union flag resting at her side. The word BRITANNIA is inscribed along the upper circumference. The coin exhibits the characteristics of the 1806-1807 issue, though the date in the exergue is no longer legible due to wear.
