A Collection of UK Commemorative and Circulation Coins including 1977 Silver Jubilee Crown and Two Pound Issues - A collection of UK coinage in various base metals including cupro-nickel, nickel-brass, and bronze. The group features a 1977 cupro-nickel crown commemorating the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, with a reverse design depicting the coronation ampulla and anointing spoon surrounded by floral emblems of the United Kingdom. The collection contains heptagonal cupro-nickel 50 pence coins celebrating the entry of the United Kingdom into the European Economic Community, featuring nine hands joined in a circle, and a cupro-nickel 50 pence coin commemorating the 65th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. Also present are commemorative nickel-brass two pound coins: a 1986 issue for the Commonwealth Games in Scotland with a thistle and laurel wreath design, and a 1989 Tercentenary of the Bill of Rights issue showing a royal crown above the intertwined W and M monogram of William and Mary. A 1967 bronze half penny featuring the Golden Hind completes the group.
